Allegiance change! Farewell South London, I'm North of the river now (furs and boots prepped). Trying to hold off reading Dance with Dragons (G Martin) as long as possible, hopefully until a release date for the next one is confirmed. I should put it in a box with 'in case of emergency...' on it. To keep my fingers off that I'm distracting myself with new authors including Scott Westerfeld and Cassandra Clare, both of which I'm really enjoying (and I see they're currently casting a film adaptation of The Mortal Instruments). I cannot believe it's over a year since I last properly used dA, it's almost like 2011 waited until I was asleep and rushed past all in one go like a stealthy ninja! This month I woke up and kicked off the apathy. I am determined to do more of the creative things I love, get out for more inspiration and most importantly not have another year I don't really remember. Rest assured I know exactly why it happened and what to avoid :) First step is Expo this weekend! I've whipped up a King of Fighters costume, which I'm working on tonight and I'm really looking forward to checking out the comic village, it's looking like a lot of you have got spa

Have a Misha Bunny! Now I've done one, I'd like to try some other plushies, but with the next con rolling up quickly it'll have to wait a while. I am still doing work, just not much I want to post images of yet. Serenity went really well, but she's not completely finished, and I'm now also working on Dolce (Eternal Sonata) and Haine (Gentlemen's Alliance) costumes. After this I'd like to get some art on the go. Work is busy too as I'm finally moving teams, but in that sandwich period where both are giving me work!
